Product identity. Clear specifications.
MatureForm is developing a voluntary product-record and assessment service for manufacturers of adult sex dolls and companion products, with future support for companion robots.
Voluntary manufacturer submissions
Manufacturers will be able to submit a defined model and configuration, including height, weight, chest or bust circumference where applicable, materials and declared powered functions. Measurement methods, units and supporting evidence will accompany the record.
A proposed paid assessment service
Fees will cover agreed record processing and assessment work. Information will be distinguished as manufacturer-declared, document-reviewed, or measured/tested within a stated scope. Payment will not guarantee a favorable assessment.
Flexible, versioned procedures
We are seeking manufacturer and distributor feedback before finalizing procedures and fees. Each future assessment will identify the evidence reviewed, product configuration, date and procedure version. Product changes may require a new review.
Identity and future traceability
The proposed MatureForm Product ID (MFPID) will identify an individual physical unit, separately from its model and assessment number. Manufacturer serial numbers will be retained. Future robot records may also link an RRID. Tracking requires product labels and recorded events; an ID alone does not verify authenticity.
What a record will mean
A record will describe submitted information and the review actually performed. It will not establish regulatory approval, general safety, legal adult classification, behavioral maturity or approval of later modifications and uses. Future lifecycle records may support discussions with insurers; insurance is not currently offered.
